We are pleased to inform you that since 27 February 2024, private individuals who are owners of existing, owner-occupied single-family homes can now also submit applications for heating refurbishment.
In order to apply, it is important that you can present trade contracts that include the expected implementation date of your refurbishment. If the installation of your new heating system takes place after 31 August 2024, the contract must also contain a resolutive or suspensive condition.
From May 2024, it will probably also be possible for owners of apartment buildings and condominium owners’ associations to submit applications, especially for measures on common property. From August 2024, it is highly likely that owners of rented single-family homes and owner-occupied or rented condominiums in condominium owners’ associations will also be eligible to apply.
Please take these new regulations into account and ensure that you receive a craft contract for your application in accordance with the above conditions to ensure a smooth process.
